The Israel-US-Iran war started on February 28, 2026. On the day after, we started a new series titled “Iran War Daily — The Gulf Report” where we aimed at providing “a concise summary of what was confirmed and verified in the previous 24 hours across the six GCC states,” including energy and stock markets, strikes, as well as major news relevant to the war. That series changed its title a few weeks later and expanded into The Daily Roundup to cover a broader set of topics on a daily basis.

This report draws on everything we covered over those three months, with added analysis to surface the patterns and consequences that only become visible at a distance.

The report is organized in two sections: the first gives an overall analysis of themes that cut across the Gulf countries, and the second zooms in with insights at the country level.
